League Rules
• Games start promptly at their scheduled time. For teams that are late, we will try to accommodate as much playing time as possible without causing the rest of the schedule to be delayed.
• Shirts or jerseys with numbers must be worn.
• No high school graduates are allowed to play. Varsity players from the previous season are not permitted to play in the JV league.
• Games will consist of two 20 - minute halves, running time. The clock will only stop during the last two minutes of the second half, if the score differential is less than 15.
• A player will be allowed six (6) personal fouls, technical fouls will be administered if necessary- 2 technical fouls will mean ejection for the current game and the next game.
• All technical fouls will be 2 points and the ball- no free throws will be shot.
• In order for teams to get the most out of game time, we will only shoot one free throw for either two or three points for a foul in the act of shooting. On a made basket, the player will shoot the “and 1”. During the last two minutes of the second half, free throw situations will be just like a regular game.
• Two (2) timeouts per half, time outs do not carry over.
• Overtime will consist of a 2-minute period with 1 timeout per team. Second overtime is sudden death with no timeouts.
• Sportsmanship and spectator conduct will remain excellent! Profanity, rudeness, etc., will not be tolerated. Anyone may be asked to leave the premises at anytime.
• If your team is unable to show up, please contact me on my cell phone as soon as you know. That way I can try to schedule a replacement team.
• There will be no trainer on site. Teams must provide their own first-aid, training, and tape.
• Chairs are limited in the Main Gym. Spectators should provide their own chairs. Please share this info with your parents. BYOC – Bring Your Own Chair.
• The 2024 Snack Bar will be open and we appreciate you and your fans support.
• Last, but definitely not least, teams are responsible for cleaning up their own bench area. Please help us out, and clean up your bench, because that could potentially keep the cost of the future summer leagues down.
