2024 Flowing Wells High School Girls Basketball Summer League

The FW Summer League is designed to give your women's basketball program the opportunity to play 9 games over a 5 week period during the summer. Your program has the ability to enter teams into any or both of our divisions.

     The league will use both the Lady Cab Gym and/or the Main Gym at Flowing Wells High School and/or the Pusch Ridge Gym allowing us to run two to three games at one time. If possible the middle court in the Main Gym will be reserved for families and fans of the players. Games will be scheduled for Monday and Wednesday nights. We do not play games on Friday nights to allow your team the time for other basketball opportunities such as camps and tournament traveling.

    We also host the Arizona Referee Academy during our Summer League. This allows some of Southern Arizona's best officials to train, teach, and give quality instruction in a game format to our new and/or younger officials.

    The purpose of running this summer league is to give coaches, players, and officials the opportunity to get better in a game like setting. I feel that the benefits of this summer league is to mesh returning players with new players. Coaches get the opportunity to try new offenses, defenses, rotations, or special plays. Players get the opportunity to get much needed playing time. Officials get a chance to get quality instruction and practice. All of this is done without the pressures of "winning." No trophies or championships are given out at the end of this league.

Parents, Families, Friends, and Fans:
We do not charge admission for you to attend summer league because we have a limited amount of chairs available. Please feel free to bring your own chair or seating arrangements for your viewing comfort.
